Career Re-Entry Fair

The Annual Career Re-Entry Fair is organised in partnership with the Companies & Returnships Network – CRN. It is designed in an innovative manner to create a platform for employers and returners to interact face-to-face and hands-on, encouraging employers to look past a returner’s CV and to recognise the talent and experience that they can offer. Returners can network with company representatives, learn about the employers’ corporate culture, the skills they are looking for, as well as exchange and network with other returners and benefit in small expert labs from advice and helpful tips.

The Second Career Re-Entry Fair was held on 15. & 16. November 2021 (online). Twelve employers (Credit Suisse, Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna, Johnson & Johnson, Lonza AG, Hochschule Luzern – Wirtschaft, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH, PwC Schweiz, Roche Diagnostics International, Schindler Aufzüge, Sunrise UPC, Swiss Re und UBS) participated, showing their commitment to this initiative. Following the panel discussion and expert-talk on job sharing strategies, participants joined ReturnersWork experts & coaches in workshops where they received advice on how to prepare for their re-entry. During the Speed Meetings the next day, participants were able to introduce themselves to employers and have virtual discussions in small groups.

This annual event promises to be a new way to increase the visibility of women and men wishing to re-enter the labour market vis a vis potential employers.

The Third Career Re-Entry Conference is taking place on Tuesday, 14. November 2023 in Zug.  The event will be hosted by CRN Member Johnson & Johnson.
